Josuiji Shinri is one of the talents in Holostar EN who is a coffee addicted ronin with based at best and terrifying at worst taste for fictional monsters (based imo)
I found Shinri shortly after I left the Niji fandom after the Selen incident and was trying to find a new vtuber community to settle in. It was around the summer of 2024 I found clips of Shinri. After I watched one I couldn't stop watching more clips of him. His voice was half the reason I liked him but it was his oji-san charm and comfy community that really got me.
When I was able to catch one of his streams I enjoyed every second of it. Just like the clips and vods, the stream had a comfy vibe and the community was very welcoming. I think it was better because it was a live experience rather than a vod.
Ever since then I was hooked onto this guy. I drew a shit ton of fanart for him and made a bunch of proper online friends for the first time through his community.
As of wrting this, the Everglow concert is in 2 days and I cannot express how proud I am of Shinri and the rest of the Stars EN boys. They've all come a long way to get to this point and I wish nothing but the best for each and every one of them.
